Volleyball Tournament Fundraiser
On November 19th, Mr. Amador held our program's first Girls Varsity Volleyball vs. Mr. Amador boys fundraiser! The audience was able to pay to give advantages and fun outfits to the Mr. Amador boys, and could even donate to participate in the game. We were able to raise $1,208 for the House in a great start to our fundraising year!
Trunk or Treat
On October 24th, we had our first fundraiser of the year, bringing in $846 for the House. The Mr. Amador boys, Directors, and Fundraising committee members helped to set up a booth at Walnut Grove's trunk or treat, spreading awareness of the House's mission to parents and running a spin-the-wheel game for the elementary schoolers. The boys also performed their reveal dance for the crowd.
Pumpkin Day @ the House
The Mr. Amador program volunteered at the George Mark Children's House's biggest event of the year: Pumpkin Day! The team helped with the costume parade, guided families on the activities offered, run the photobooth, and even dressed as a mascot. It was our program's first time helping at the event, and we were grateful to have experienced the House's amazing day for families and their children.
